1. Create a plan

2. Remove distractions and simplify
Remember that a good design need not be fancy and complicated. The end goal of having visitors is for you to make them want to buy what you are selling. Try not to distract them. Avoid using cheesy animations, extremely long articles, and ugly images.

5. Employ negative space
Negative space, also called white space, is the empty area that surrounds the most significant elements on a web page. It lacks content or any visual element that can tell information. Negative space can be larger than the central element, or it can be smaller.
The use of negative space is important because it helps make the page more readable. It can highlight the central element of the page. Readers and visitors of your website can immediately draw their attention to the most important parts that you want to highlight when negative space is employed.
